The house was re-wired to include recessed lighting and switchable lamp sockets in the living areas along with multiple power and data points in each room to accommodate high-speed internet connections for wall-mounted televisions and home office requirements.

Along with the feature windows, the current owners carefully upgraded and restored the original features back to their former glory.

The internal doors were chemically stripped and then repainted and the ground floor fireplaces, which are operational, have been painted and fitted with black slate hearths flush to the line of the new oak flooring.

The ground floor accommodation consists of an entrance hall, with two reception rooms connected by the original triple folding doors, a large bright kitchen / dining room extended with two Velux windows and a large utility room with WHB and ample storage. The utility room also doubles as a kids playroom complete with beanbags and wall mounted TV. A guest WC completes the ground floor.

piping already installed during the refurbishment.
